We were instructed by our client to divert the existing combined Anglian Water Sewer that ran under the boundary of his property.
The diversion was required as we had been engaged to construct an extension on to the property. However the existing combined sewer ran within the footprint of the new extension.
We initially liaised with his architect and engineer to ensure that a solution that was acceptable to Anglian Water could be achieved.
We undertook the completion of all paperwork and submissions to Anglian Water to ensure that the works were approved by them and that an official S185 agreement could be made.
The works consisted of excavating three metres below ground to expose the existing pipe, we then had to construct two manholes on the existing run and a further two away from the existing run forming the diversion.
All works were executed in accordance with Anglian Water and approvals were granted.
We undertook a fully autonomous service whereby we took care of everything from the initial application to Anglian Water right up to completion of the works.
