Working for a major contractor in Basildon on a scheme, that involved the relocation of some 130000m3 of wash land to form a site immediately south of a major dual carriageway, which would be used as a new EFW treatment site.
We carried out a package of works in the region of £350k in value, of which included inlet and outlet works for a 2.1m inverted siphon structure, structures for a major reservoir construction and river diversion.
As part of the works we undertook the supply and installation of concrete pipes and culvert box sections.
In addition we constructed a number of manholes of varying sizes and structures such as headwalls all of which are to be adopted by the regional water authority.
The works also involved installation of a new surface water drainage system for the new treatment site, which will be built in 2012 for Essex County Council.
